Nope! One of the major benefits of a HydraFacial treatment is that there is no downtime. You can resume your normal activities immediately after the procedure. It’s even gentle enough to get done on your lunch break, making it a convenient option for people with busy schedules.
Many people report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment, however, maintaining optimal results requires regular treatments. The recommended frequency is once every 4-6 weeks but varies based on your specific skin condition and goals. We offer HydraFacial Packages!

Microneedling FAQ
When done properly, there is no risk associated with using microneedling devices. The best way to ensure you are using safe practices is to have a medical professional administer the procedure. At MedSpa SLO, we use professional microneedling devices to deliver effective treatments for various skin conditions and boost collagen production. That way, you stay safe and comfortable while receiving the most from each session.
Micro-needling sessions at MedSpa SLO take 30 minutes or less, depending on the treatment area we are covering.
The number of microneedling sessions you need will vary based on your goals and your skin. For example, if you’re treating minimal fine lines you’ll likely need less than a full acne treatment or stretch marks would require. Many of our patients return for microneedling monthly to maximize the benefit and keep their complexion looking rejuvenated.
While you can gain some benefit to using an at-home microneedling device, you will not achieve the same results achieved by professional treatments. Home treatments often cause damage to the skin’s surface and may help you produce more collagen but the result likely isn’t comparable to professional microneedling services.
At MedSpa SLO, patients receive the most effective micro-needling treatment available, allowing them to address acne scarring, decreased collagen production, dark spots, and other issues. We can hit a deeper layer of skin than at-home devices to give your skin the biggest boost with every session.
